- You need to re-initialize the modem each time you use it, OR save the
- settings in non-volatile RAM. I understand Telepaths are OEMed by
- USR, so the command to save the settings is probably AT&W.

- However, I recommend reinializing the modem with each use. Most com programs, including
- Trumpet, give you a way to send an init string to your modem. Just put the S0=0 in that
- init string. I recommend reinitializing from scratch each time because some programs
- actually modify your defaults and save them to NVRAM. This can really screw you up if you
- don't know that happened.
