  24. You need to re-initialize the modem each time you use it, OR save the
  25. settings in non-volatile RAM.  I understand Telepaths are OEMed by
  26. USR, so the command to save the settings is probably AT&W.

  28. However, I recommend reinializing the modem with each use.  Most com programs, including
  29. Trumpet, give you a way to send an init string to your modem.  Just put the S0=0 in that
  30. init string.  I recommend reinitializing from scratch each time  because some programs
  31. actually modify your defaults and save them to NVRAM.  This can really screw you up if you
  32. don't know that happened.
